The house runs itself.
Because someone runs it.

Munshi is a household manager for Indian flatmates. Bills, splits, the calendar, the shopping list, the chores. You tell him what happened, in whatever words it happened in, and he handles the rest.

“The accounts are settled, janaab.”

The household ledger

Everything a flat argues about, kept.

01

Rent and utility splitting

Say the bill out loud and it is logged, split, and settled in the ledger. Munshi keeps the accounts so nobody has to chase anybody.

02

A calendar for the whole flat

Rent due dates, guests, society visits, per tenant. Munshi files it the moment it is mentioned.

03

The shopping list that writes itself

Out of atta, guests need snacks, milk again. He notices what the house is short on and lists it before you do.

04

Chores, delegated diplomatically

Someone has to tidy before guests arrive. Munshi assigns it, tracks it, and remembers who never does it.

05

Society and paymentsPhase two

Gate entries, maintenance, rent by UPI. The next chapter of the household.
